In 2002, Harnek (Nick) Rakkar founded AZ Electrical Services Ltd. with a single mission: deliver honest, high-quality electrical work and stand behind every job. What began as a one-man operation in Surrey, BC has grown into one of the Lower Mainland’s most trusted electrical contractors — built entirely on word-of-mouth, repeat business, and the relationships Nick forged with BC’s premier developers over more than two decades.

Under Nick’s leadership, AZ Electrical has completed over 150 residential and commercial projects across Metro Vancouver — from 6-storey mixed-use condominiums to large-scale townhome communities — earning long-standing partnerships with developers such as Orr Moniz, Townline Homes, JPS Developments, Monsoon Developments, and Onni Group.

Every installation is performed in strict accordance with the 2024 Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) and BC Safety Authority standards — ensuring every project is safe, code-compliant, and built to last.
